In an effort to position CA Technologies as an authoritative leader in mainframe solutions, this campaign leveraged data and quotes from industry leaders. I wrote the headlines to work with the aspect of the software that each ad spoke to. The print ads targeted mainframe professionals and ran in industry magazines.
The Real Advantage Campaign
After a successful “Main” campaign I played off of the Main Advantage ad and ran a separate campaign of print and interactive ads specifically for the Workload Automation solution.
I used the same concept of highlighting a statistic for these other solutions the company wanted to advertise. This was a new direction since prior ads focused on big blocks of copy.
CA Technologies has a continuous need for advertising for many different groups throughout the global corporation. Advertising opportunities were often given with little notice and monitoring brand was difficult.
I established a set of on-demand advertising guidelines. Groups within CA could choose which type of ad best suited their needs and the ads could be turned around very quickly — often on the same day, and always within brand.
Tradeshows and Events
CA Technologies takes part in various events throughout the world and each team requires a different look and message depending on their product offerings. For each team I produced booth graphics as well as any additional materials needed at each show, such as advertising, bag inserts, T-shirts and wristbands.
